The McGorgamatorium

May 2011 - June 2012
The McGorgamatorium is an immersive storytelling environment designed to represent the office of fictional explorer, Admiral Aloysius McGorgamaforg. By using a hand-crafted set complete with five large, elaborate props that use micro-controllers to facilitate interactivity, users are invited to step inside McGorgamaforg’s world, immersing themselves in the environment and learning this incredible man’s life story. Personal responsibilities included creation of artwork for print and screen, construction of physical interfaces for interactive devices, prop fabrication, hardware and software programming.
